Art at Rukgala Retreat
We’ve worked with local artist Rudrani Devidas to put together options for art at Rukgala.
We wanted to have an art activity that was easy for people to pick up whenever they chose. For those wanting more guided tuition the Arty Sessions can be pre-booked.
Art Events are for groups at Rukgala and can be styled however you choose.
Art Activity
Timings - entirely up to you
Tuition and support - simple written instructions from Rudrani, an inspiration picture and all the materials you will need (we provide acrylic paints, brushes, easel and canvas)
Charge - USD 35 per person
Our Art Activity lets you dive into an expressive art experience any time you choose.
We will provide the location, the materials and a little inspiration with a suggested image and some simple beginners instructions from Rudrani.
You’re then free to let your creativity roam wild.
Arty Sessions
Timings - around 2-3 hours in the afternoon and to be booked in advance
Tuition and support - Rudrani joins for the session to work with you and help you develop your skills. Again, we provide all the materials needed.
Charge - for groups of 2-3: USD 66 per person…
…for groups of 4-5: USD 55 per person
Rudrani will join you for the afternoon and work with you as you either explore an entirely new skill or develop your artistic talent.

Art Events are for groups staying at Rukgala exclusively and can be arranged in consultation with Rudrani to exactly fit the style and focus for the group experience you’re putting together.
